Distinctive training in dance and performing arts
Brooks Dance Academy is a friendly, family-run dance school for budding dancers based in Lancing, West Sussex. We use two main venues: our own Brooks Dance Academy Studio on Lancing seafront and Sir Robert Woodard Academy Lancing, and occasionally Worthing High School. We ignite creativity, technique and passion in dancers through diverse training in ballet, jazz, modern, lyrical, tap, contemporary, acro, street, commercial, musical theatre and PBT.
Our creative team fosters a supportive atmosphere where young dancers thrive. Young dancers can explore exciting performance opportunities with our troupes and companies, from local festivals to the Dance World Cup. From baby ballet to our advanced pre-vocational classes, we embrace every dancers' journey from age 3–18 and each year many graduates successfully audition for prestigious vocational colleges.
The school has been open for 25 years as Shoreham-by-sea's most established dance studio, first opening in 1999 at St. Mary's Church Hall, formerly named The Shoreham School of Dance.

We offer a comprehensive timetable, especially suited to those interested in pursuing dance as their main hobby, or who wish to dance and perform to a high standard.
New students can register for a week-long trial before signing up for the full term.
Registration costs £10 and gives you unlimited access to all classes for one week.
